We are taking our party on the road to a different venue this season and we hope you will join us. Mutton and Mead has always tried to be an engaging party for all who are drawn to our gates, and our Bash will continue that tradition while creating a new lively event where the revelry of music is front and center. If you have missed us, and want to support us then come and party with us!

Adorn yourself and those you care about with all manner of treasures in our Medieval Marketplace! From costumes to candy, swords to masks, chainmail to leather goods, you'll discover trinkets you won't see anywhere else!

Seize the Wondrous Night!
Enjoy the rousing music of our Revelry Court (dancing encouraged) or kick back and enjoy a bardic circle or ambient music jam under the majestic night sky.

• WOLGEMUT: Lively Pipes & Thunderous Drums. Early Music for your Modern Mind! Bombastic drums, Bagpipes divine; Sackbuts, Rauschpfeife played so fine, Songs that sing of days of yore, Fiddle's, Flutes and so much more.

• MISFITS OF AVALON: The ancient and enchanting hammered dulcimer and mandolin, Guitar and vocals. Be delighted by the beautiful and uplifting sounds of traditional contemporary Celtic music.

• ENCHANTED INTERACTIONS: Be on the lookout for magical beings who have come for the revelry. They are just as curious about you as you are about them.

• TAVERN SING: The beloved Mutton and Mead Tavern welcomes all to our rollicking Tavern Sing. Lift your glass and sing or clap along.

• CARAVAN DANCERS: Returning yet again, from the farthest lands of the realm! They showcase performances inspired by music from long ago and far, far away. Live musical accompaniment by Carmine and Friends and Ensemble Davuli whose music ranges from traditional Mideastern to mystical to funky fusion and guaranteed to make you want to move.

• ROVING SING-A-LONG: Because a single Tavern Sing isn't enough.

• ARMORED COMBAT: Demonstrations and a lively competition of Knightly skills.

• FAERIE TALES invites Shire children to a storytime gathering with a twist—your children help write their story with the faeries!

• SAUCY SERENADE: Titillating tunesmithery from the bawdy bard(s) and lusty ladies. Euphemistically bawdy ballads and salacious shanties geared towards adults ( but great icebreaker for parents wanting to have “the talk”)

• BIRDS OF PREY: Birds in History. Not only will you be able to see Raptors, Falcons, and Owls up close, but you will also learn what role they played in Medieval Europe, as well as in the beautiful landscapes and ecosystems of “New” England!

• THE WANDERING WARBLERS: Flitting through the lanes, filling the air with their sweet chirping melodies and songs about love and birds.

• SKELETON CREW THEATER brings magical and monstrous creatures to life - come meet the Trolls, we’ve heard they have a few surprises for you!

• HARPER’S MUSICAL EXPLORATIONS come enjoy the sweet music, and if you want, explore the Celtic Harp yourself. Great for all ages.

• DANCE REVELRY: We did say dancing was encouraged. We will be teaching some dances during the event. So bring thy best dance moves be them bold or light or learn some new ones for when the music feels right. There will be plenty of opportunity for dancing during the day and through the night

• ACTIVITIES & GAMES : Interactive activities and play for the young and young at heart including games like the Feed the Dragon, the Mug Slide, the Tower of Doom, Skittles, and Drench Thy Friendly Foe.
